Chicken in White Wine Mushroom Sauce (better know as Sharon's Wine Chicken) - my mom! This succulent chicken recipe will melt in your mouth. It goes really well with my Creamy Potoate recipe that you can find under Vegetables. Enjoy! Chicken: Slice 8 – 10 pieces of boneless skinless chicken breasts in half. Dredge in flour seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic to taste. In a large pan heat oil on medium high heat and saute both side until lightly brown. Place cooked chicken breasts in a baking dish. Sauce: Saute 2 large onions in 4 tbsp. of butter until soft. Add 4 tbsp. of flour, cook and stir approximately 5 minutes. Add 1 ½ cups chicken broth and ½ cup white wine. Add approximately 12 sliced mushrooms and season to taste. Poor over chicken and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
